Testing Strategy for Burlingame Students
Burlingame High School's location, between San Francisco and the Peninsula, in a community with significant professional diversity, means its student population brings a range of college goals and a range of prior testing experiences. Some arrive at junior year having already taken a diagnostic or a prep course. Others are starting from scratch. Michael's trial session diagnostic is built to work from either starting point.
The digital SAT's adaptive module structure is new enough that many Bay Area students do not fully understand how it works. Module 1 performance determines which version of Module 2 a student receives, and the harder Module 2 is where the scores above 1450 are built. Students who pace themselves carelessly in Module 1 do not get access to those questions, regardless of their capability. Michael explains this structure during the trial and builds the pacing strategy around it.
Burlingame High School students who are targeting Bay Area test centers should register early. The nearest major SAT and ACT test centers fill 5 to 6 weeks before test day. Burlingame itself and nearby San Mateo have testing locations, check current seat availability at collegeboard.org or act.org the day registration opens.
The score satisfaction guarantee applies to all Burlingame students who complete the agreed program. Students continue at no additional cost after the agreed session cap until they are satisfied or available testing opportunities have been exhausted. Michael's confidence in the guarantee reflects his confidence in the diagnostic and the recommended training plan.
