Zoom SAT Test Prep Tutoring – Test Prep Sessions Moving Online During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
We are now conducting SAT and ACT test prep classes through the online platform Zoom. The length and the cost of the online test prep classes will be the same as the usual in-person test prep classes.
 
Now, each student will work from home, as opposed to studying within a group. The student will not have a session with me in person; rather, he or she will connect with me online.
 
Sessions are still being scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
When students schedule their appointments all the information needed to access the Zoom meeting will be included in the confirmation notifications.
 
Whenever practice tests are recommended, they will be taken from your home and then assessed in our test prep sessions.
 
You will be billed via email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, be safe and calm in the midst of the chaos.

I  took the PSAT in 10th and 11th grade and found it utterly awful. I’ve never been a big fan of standardized tests, but I knew I’d have to take either the ACT or SAT in college. I was nervous about them because I didn’t score as well on the PSAT as I hoped. In 11th grade, I actually did worse on the PSAT than I did in 10th grade. I thought that this was a clear indicator that I would fail the SAT/ACT and wouldn’t get into a college that I loved. I started with Michael after a recommendation from my college counselor. Adjusting to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Trial Sessions Now Moving Online
 
We are currently holding all our free trial sessions and test prep sessions online.
 
For the trial session, we will be connecting via the online platform Zoom.
 
The student is going to need a place to work where he or she will stay undisturbed for two hours.
 
When you register for your free trial session, the Zoom meeting information will be included in your confirmation email.
 
I will be in contact within the first 15 minutes of our session.
 

 
What Happens After The Trial Session?
 
After the trial session, I will be in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep proposal.
 
If your trial session is on a Saturday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If your trial session is on Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
