Private Online ACT Test Prep Tutors – Adjusting to the COVID-19 Crisis: Test Prep Classes Now Moving Online

 
We are now holding ACT and SAT test prep classes online via Zoom. They are going to last as long and cost the same as our usual in-person test prep sessions do.
 
Instead of studying within a group, each student will study from home. The student is not going to have a session with me in person; instead, he or she will connect with me online.
 
Students can still schedule a session the same way as before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The Zoom link and instructions will be included in your scheduled appointment confirmation notifications.
 
When recommended practice tests will be taken at home and reviewed in the test prep classes.
 
You are going to be invoiced through e-mail.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. Meanwhile, be safe and calm amid the chaos.

Adjusting to the COVID-19 Crisis: Trial Sessions Currently Online
 
Until further notice, all our free trial sessions and test prep are conducted online.
 
For the trial session, we will be meeting through the online platform Zoom.
 
In order to get the most out of the trial session, each student is going to need a place to work where he or she will remain uninterrupted for two hours.
 
Once you book a free trial session, all the information needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided.
 
I am going to be in contact within the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
After The Trial Session
 
I will be in touch with a parent and will discuss my test prep proposal in a follow-up call.
 
If your trial session takes place on a Saturday, I will contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session is on Sunday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|In case your trial session is on Saturday, I am going to call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Additionally, the group testing environment was insanely helpful in practicing what to expect during test day. Mr. Test Prep’s unpredictable outbursts of songs and people’s sneezing and coughing inevitably allowed me to block out the irrelevant and focus on the test. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
