Private ACT Test Prep Coaches Online – Test Prep Sessions Moving Online During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
Test prep sessions are now conducted via the online platform Zoom. They are going to last as long as in-person test prep classes and are also going to cost the same.
 
Now, the student will not work within a group, but each student will work from home. The student will not sit with me in person; instead, he or she will connect with me via the online platform Zoom.
 
Students will still be able to schedule sessions the same way like before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The Zoom link and instructions will be provided in your appointment confirmation notifications.
 
When needed practice tests will be taken at home and evaluated during our test prep classes.
 
You will be invoiced through email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meanwhile, stay safe and calm amidst the chaos.

When you imagine a test prep tutor, what kind of person do you think of?
I’m the type of person who never worked well with adults who tried to push me or made me feel stupid, and that’s why I was really reluctant to try SAT prep.
But Michael Romano surprised me by defying the stereotype of the traditional harsh, nitpicky tutor time and time again. He never forces students to study or do homework assignments, and because he did not, I felt genuinely inspired to put in the effort on my own behalf. Rather than someone else driving my progress, I felt as though I held the reigns to my own improvement on the SAT.
I won’t talk about how Michael comes up with neat strategies for the trickiest of math and reading problems, how he’s an endlessly patient teacher, or how he made every seemingly impossible question look easy and conquerable. All our free trial sessions and test prep are currently held online.
 
For the trial session, we will be meeting using the online platform Zoom.
 
To get the most out of the trial session, it is best for the student to remain uninterrupted for the duration of the two hour trial session.
 
When you book your free trial session, the Zoom meeting information will be provided.
 
I will be present for the first 15 minutes of our session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will get in touch with a parent and will discuss my test prep proposal.
 
If your trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT.
