Online SAT Test Prep Services – Test Prep Sessions Now Online During the COVID-19 Crisis

 
Test prep classes are now conducted via the online platform Zoom. They will last as long as usual in-person test prep classes and will also cost the same.
 
Now, he or she will study from home, as opposed to doing work in a group setting. The student will not have a session with me in person; instead, he or she will meet with me online.
 
Students can still schedule sessions the same way like before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
All the details you will need for the Zoom meeting will be sent along with your appointment confirmation notices.
 
Whenever it is time for a practice test, it will be taken from your home and then evaluated during our test prep classes.
 
You will be billed via email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. For now, be safe and calm amidst these unprecedented times.

Michael’s methodology is unlike any other tutor I’ve worked with before, and the results I got with him were unmatchable. The group setting allowed me to go back and forth between working on my own just like a testing setting AND breaking down my sections while they’re fresh in my mind. While many other tutors believe in using homework as a studying tool, whenever I would attend my next session with them,  I couldn’t remember why I chose the answers I did. By confining my work to my sessions with Michael, I was able to evaluate my thought process for each answer and correct my mistakes MUCH more efficiently.
 
Rather than most tutor’s standard lesson plan (even for one on one sessions), Michael tailors each session to what that individual student needs. My best sections were tested less frequently, and more time was spent on the sections I struggled with.
 
Michael understands the interplay between testing and his student’s mindset. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have had extreme difficulty performing well on exams even when I know the material front to back. After two meditation sessions, I meditated every morning and night about a week preceding each of my SAT exams (as well as actually during my SAT) I felt less anxious, more at ease and extremely more confident.
 
What it boils down to is Michael truly understands his students and creates a relationship and bond with them like NO other tutor. He creates a completely safe space where mistakes aren’t scrutinized, they’re looked at as a place to improve. I improved my SAT score by about 350, but, beyond that, I can look back at my sessions with him and only have positive memories. Going to Michael was one of the best decisions I made. Test Prep Classes Moving Online During the COVID-19 Crisis
 
For the time being, we are holding all our free trial sessions and test prep online.
 
Once you have scheduled a trial session, we will be meeting online via Zoom.
 
Each student is going to need a silent place where he or she can work for two hours without getting interrupted.
 
When you sign up for your free trial session, all the info needed for the Zoom meeting will be provided.
 
I am going to be in touch during the first 15 minutes of the session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will be in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep recommendations.
 
In case your trial session is on Saturday, I will contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And in case your trial session is on Sunday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Additionally, the group testing environment was insanely helpful in practicing what to expect during test day. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
