Online Private ACT Coaches – Adjusting to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Test Prep Classes Now Moving Online

 
We are now giving ACT and SAT test prep sessions online through Zoom. They are going to last as long as our in-person test prep classes and are also going to cost the same.
 
Instead of doing work within a group, he or she will study from home. Instead of meeting with me in person, he or she is going to do so virtually.
 
Sessions will continue to be scheduled the same way at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
When students schedule their appointments The Zoom link and instructions will be included in the confirmation notices.
 
Whenever practice tests are recommended, they will be taken at home and assessed during the test prep classes.
 
You are going to be billed via email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, be safe and calm amidst these unprecedented times.

When you imagine a test prep tutor, what kind of person do you think of?
I’m the type of person who never worked well with adults who tried to push me or made me feel stupid, and that’s why I was really reluctant to try SAT prep.
But Michael Romano surprised me by defying the stereotype of the traditional harsh, nitpicky tutor time and time again. He never forces students to study or do homework assignments, and because he did not, I felt genuinely inspired to put in the effort on my own behalf. Rather than someone else driving my progress, I felt as though I held the reigns to my own improvement on the SAT.
I won’t talk about how Michael comes up with neat strategies for the trickiest of math and reading problems, how he’s an endlessly patient teacher, or how he made every seemingly impossible question look easy and conquerable. He did all of these things. But I think what truly makes Michael special is the effort he puts into each relationship with his students. Test Prep Classes Currently Online Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic
 
We are currently holding all our free trial sessions and test prep sessions online.
 
Once someone has scheduled a trial session, we will be meeting online via Zoom.
 
To be able to get the most out of the trial session, it is best for the student to remain undisturbed for the duration of the two hour trial session.
 
When you book a free trial session, all the info needed for the Zoom meeting will be sent along with your confirmation notification.
 
I will be present for the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will get in touch with a parent and will discuss my test prep advice.
 
In case your trial session is on a Saturday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session is on Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session is on a Saturday, I will call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
