One-On-One Zoom ACT Test Prep Programs – Test Prep Classes Now Online During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
For the time being, we are holding test prep sessions via the online platform Zoom. The length and the cost of the online test prep sessions will be the same as the typical in-person test prep classes.
 
Instead of studying in a group setting, he or she will study from home. The student is not going to sit with me in person; rather, he or she will connect with me online.
 
Sessions will continue to be scheduled the same way at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The online ACT/SAT test prep appointment confirmation notices will have the Zoom meeting info.
 
When recommended practice tests will be taken at home and then assessed in the test prep sessions.
 
You will be invoiced through email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. Meanwhile, be safe and calm amid these unprecedented times.

Michael’s methodology is unlike any other tutor I’ve worked with before, and the results I got with him were unmatchable. The group setting allowed me to go back and forth between working on my own just like a testing setting AND breaking down my sections while they’re fresh in my mind. While many other tutors believe in using homework as a studying tool, whenever I would attend my next session with them,  I couldn’t remember why I chose the answers I did. By confining my work to my sessions with Michael, I was able to evaluate my thought process for each answer and correct my mistakes MUCH more efficiently.
 
Rather than most tutor’s standard lesson plan (even for one on one sessions), Michael tailors each session to what that individual student needs. My best sections were tested less frequently, and more time was spent on the sections I struggled with.
 
Michael understands the interplay between testing and his student’s mindset. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have had extreme difficulty performing well on exams even when I know the material front to back. After two meditation sessions, I meditated every morning and night about a week preceding each of my SAT exams (as well as actually during my SAT) I felt less anxious, more at ease and extremely more confident.
 
What it boils down to is Michael truly understands his students and creates a relationship and bond with them like NO other tutor. He creates a completely safe space where mistakes aren’t scrutinized, they’re looked at as a place to improve. I improved my SAT score by about 350, but, beyond that, I can look back at my sessions with him and only have positive memories. Going to Michael was one of the best decisions I made. Test Prep Classes Moving Online During the Coronavirus Pandemic
 
For the time being, all our free trial sessions and test prep are conducted online.
 
For the trial session, we will be connecting using the online platform Zoom.
 
Each student will require a place to work where he or she can remain undisturbed for two hours.
 
Once you book your free trial session, the Zoom link and instructions will be provided in your confirmation notification.
 
I am going to be in touch within the first 15 minutes of the trial session.
 

 
After The Trial Session
 
I will get in touch with a parent and will discuss my test prep suggestions during a follow-up phone call.
 
If your trial session is on Saturday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. In case your trial session is on a Sunday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|In case your trial session takes place on a Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And in case your trial session takes place on Sunday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
