One-On-One SAT Services Online – Test Prep Sessions Moving Online During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
We are now conducting ACT and SAT test prep sessions using the online platform Zoom. They will last as long and cost the same as our typical test prep sessions do.
 
Now, he or she will study from home, as opposed to doing work within a group. And instead of sitting with me in the same room, the student will meet with me using the online platform Zoom.
 
Students will still be able to schedule a session the same way as before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The online ACT/SAT test prep appointment confirmation notices will have all the information you will need to access the Zoom meeting.
 
When needed practice tests will be taken from your home and then reviewed during the test prep classes.
 
You will be billed through e-mail.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meanwhile, stay safe and calm amidst the chaos.

Unfortunately for me, I  am one of those people who do practice tests perfectly but score badly on actual tests. I just get jitters whenever I get to the testing room. Micheal realized this after my diagnostic test and recommended I meditate before taking the SAT or ACT. I was apprehensive during our practice sessions but I diligently practiced meditation at home. Finally, when it got to testing day I was unusually calm. Never beforehand was I that tranquil before taking a test, normally my heart pounds, my hands get sweaty, and I can’t think. On that day I felt as if everything was a walk in the park, everything came to me and nothing felt rushed. In the end, I was able to score a 35 on the ACT stress-free. What also helped my nervousness was Michael testing room. It was a perfect place to practice the SAT and ACT: full of students, quiet, and distraction free. It allowed me to simulate how it would feel like in a testing center without the hassle of going to one. In all, without Michael I probably wouldn’t have gotten the score that I got.

Test Prep Classes Moving Online During the COVID-19 Crisis
 
All our free trial sessions and test prep classes are now held online.
 
For the trial session, we will be connecting online using Zoom.
 
To get the most out of the trial session, the student will require a place to work where he or she will stay undisturbed for two hours.
 
Once you sign up for a free trial session, the Zoom meeting details will be provided in your confirmation notification.
 
I am going to be present for the first 15 minutes of our session.
 

 
The next Step Following The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, a parent and I will have a follow-up discussion about my test prep advice.
 
If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|In case your trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if your trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Additionally, the group testing environment was insanely helpful in practicing what to expect during test day. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
