One-On-One ACT Test Prep Specialists Online – Test Prep During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
We are currently giving ACT and SAT test prep classes through the online platform Zoom. The length and the cost of the online test prep sessions will be the same as the regular in-person test prep sessions.
 
Now, he or she will study from home, as opposed to studying within a group. Instead of meeting me in person, he or she will do so virtually.
 
Sessions will continue to be scheduled the same way at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The Zoom link and instructions will be included in the appointment confirmation notifications.
 
When practice tests are recommended, they will be taken at home and then reviewed in our test prep sessions.
 
You will be invoiced through email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meanwhile, be safe and calm in the midst of the chaos.

When you imagine a test prep tutor, what kind of person do you think of?
I’m the type of person who never worked well with adults who tried to push me or made me feel stupid, and that’s why I was really reluctant to try SAT prep.
But Michael Romano surprised me by defying the stereotype of the traditional harsh, nitpicky tutor time and time again. He never forces students to study or do homework assignments, and because he did not, I felt genuinely inspired to put in the effort on my own behalf. Rather than someone else driving my progress, I felt as though I held the reigns to my own improvement on the SAT.
I won’t talk about how Michael comes up with neat strategies for the trickiest of math and reading problems, how he’s an endlessly patient teacher, or how he made every seemingly impossible question look easy and conquerable. He did all of these things. But I think what truly makes Michael special is the effort he puts into each relationship with his students. He’s always positive, he always makes you feel that you are smart and capable of accomplishing things.

Test Prep Sessions Moving Online During the COVID-19 Crisis
 
Until further notice, we are conducting all our free trial sessions and test prep online.
 
Once you have booked a trial session, we will be connecting online through Zoom.
 
To be able to get the most out of the trial session, it is best for the student to stay uninterrupted for two hours.
 
When you sign up for a free trial session, the Zoom meeting information will be provided.
 
I am going to be in touch during the first 15 minutes of the trial session.
 

 
The next Step After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will get in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep suggestions.
 
In case your trial session takes place on a Saturday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. In case your trial session is on a Sunday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If your trial session is on a Sunday, I will call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
