Ever since we had to switch our test prep classes to an online format in March 2020, we have seen our best results. Because of that, test prep classes continue to be offered online using Zoom. See below for more information about how our online test prep sessions are structured.
 

Online test prep classes – What’s different compared to in-person test prep classes?

  • Instead of working within a group, each student studies from home. The student is not going to have a session with me in person; rather, he or she will meet with me online.
  • Online sessions are being scheduled the same way at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
  • When students schedule their appointments the Zoom meeting details will be included in the confirmation notifications.
  • Whenever it is time for a practice test, it will be taken at home and then assessed in the test prep sessions.
  • You will be billed via e-mail.

Online Test Prep Trial Sessions
 
The free trial sessions are conducted online, as well.
 
Once you have booked a trial session, we will be meeting via the online platform Zoom.
 
The student is going to require a place to work where he or she can stay uninterrupted for two hours.
 
Once you register for a free trial session, the Zoom meeting details will be sent along with your confirmation notification.
 
I am going to be present for the first 15 minutes of the trial session.
 

 
What Happens After The Trial Session?
 
After the trial session, a parent and I will have a follow-up discussion about my test prep proposal.
 
In case your trial session is on Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if your trial session is on a Sunday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.
 
In case you have to make some other arrangements or have any questions, please let me know.

Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT.
