Online SAT Test Prep Classes – Adjusting to the Coronavirus Crisis: Test Prep Classes Currently Online

 
For the time being, test prep sessions are conducted using the online platform Zoom. They are going to last as long as our typical test prep sessions and will also cost the same.
 
Instead of working within a group, the student will work from home. And instead of meeting me in person, he or she is going to do so online.
 
Sessions will continue to be scheduled the same way at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
When students schedule their appointments all the details needed for accessing the Zoom meeting will be provided in the confirmation notices.
 
When recommended practice tests will be taken from your home and assessed during the test prep sessions.
 
You are going to be billed via email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, stay safe and calm amidst these challenging times.

As I was starting to get prepared for the SAT, I knew I needed a tutor to help me improve my skills and reach my score goal. Trial Sessions in the Coronavirus Crisis
 
We are currently conducting all our free trial sessions and test prep sessions online.
 
For the trial session, we will be meeting via the online platform Zoom.
 
To be able to get the most out of the trial session, each student is going to need a place to work where he or she can stay uninterrupted for two hours.
 
When you register for your free trial session, the Zoom meeting information will be sent along with your confirmation notification.
 
I will be present for the first 15 minutes of the session.
 

 
After The Trial Session
 
A parent and I will have a follow-up discussion about my test prep recommendations.
 
If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if your trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session is on a Saturday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. In case your trial session is on a Sunday, I am going to call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Additionally, the group testing environment was insanely helpful in practicing what to expect during test day. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
