We have seen our best test prep results since we had to switch to an online format in March 2020. Because of that, test prep sessions continue to be offered using the online platform Zoom. Below you will find more information about how our online test prep classes are structured.
 

Online test prep classes – What’s different compared to in-person test prep sessions?

  • During the online classes, the student does not study in groups, but the student studies from home. The student is not going to sit with me in person; rather, he or she will meet with me online.
  • Online sessions will be scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
  • The Zoom meeting information will be included in the scheduled appointment confirmation notifications.
  • When practice tests are recommended, they will be taken from your home and evaluated during our test prep sessions.
  • You will be invoiced via email.

Once someone has booked a trial session, we will be connecting through the online platform Zoom.
 
To get the most out of the trial session, the student will require a place to work where he or she will remain uninterrupted for two hours.
 
When you book your free trial session, all the information needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided in your confirmation email.
 
I will be in contact within the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will be in touch with a parent and will discuss my test prep recommendations.
 
If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if the trial session is on a Sunday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
