Since we had to switch our test prep classes to an online format in March 2020, we have noticed that our results have been much better. Because of that, we continue to offer ACT and SAT test prep sessions online via Zoom. For more information about how our online format is structured please read below.
 

Online test prep classes – How is the online test prep session different?

  • During the online classes, he or she studies from home, as opposed to studying in a group setting. The student will not sit with me in person; rather, he or she will meet with me through the online platform Zoom.
  • Online sessions are being scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
  • Your scheduled online ACT/SAT test prep appointment confirmation notices will have the Zoom meeting details.
  • When recommended practice tests will be taken from your home and then evaluated in the test prep sessions.
  • You are going to be invoiced through email.

Once someone has scheduled a trial session, we will be meeting using the online platform Zoom.
 
In order to get the most out of the trial session, it is best, if the student can remain uninterrupted for two hours.
 
Once you sign up for your free trial session, all the information needed for accessing the Zoom meeting will be provided.
 
I will be in contact within the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
After The Trial Session
 
I will get in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep proposal in a follow-up call.
 
If your trial session is on Saturday, I will contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And in case your trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
