Private Online SAT Teachers – Test Prep Classes Currently Online Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic

 
Test prep classes are now held online using Zoom. The length and the cost of the online test prep sessions are the same as the usual in-person test prep sessions.
 
Instead of working in a group setting, each student will study from home. And instead of having a session with me me in person, he or she will do so online.
 
As before, sessions will still be scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
Your scheduled online SAT/ACT test prep appointment confirmation notices will have the Zoom link and instructions.
 
When recommended practice tests will be taken at home and reviewed during our test prep classes.
 
You are going to be billed through e-mail.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, be safe and calm amidst the chaos.

When you imagine a test prep tutor, what kind of person do you think of?
I’m the type of person who never worked well with adults who tried to push me or made me feel stupid, and that’s why I was really reluctant to try SAT prep.
But Michael Romano surprised me by defying the stereotype of the traditional harsh, nitpicky tutor time and time again. He never forces students to study or do homework assignments, and because he did not, I felt genuinely inspired to put in the effort on my own behalf. Rather than someone else driving my progress, I felt as though I held the reigns to my own improvement on the SAT.
I won’t talk about how Michael comes up with neat strategies for the trickiest of math and reading problems, how he’s an endlessly patient teacher, or how he made every seemingly impossible question look easy and conquerable. Adjusting to the COVID-19 Crisis: Trial Sessions Currently Online
 
For the time being, all our free trial sessions and test prep classes are conducted online.
 
Once someone has booked a trial session, we will be meeting using the online platform Zoom.
 
It is best, if the student can stay uninterrupted for two hours.
 
When you book your free trial session, all the information needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided.
 
I am going to be present for the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will connect with a parent and will talk about my test prep suggestions.
 
If the trial session takes place on a Saturday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if the trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session is on Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on Sunday, I am going to call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
