Online 1-On-1 SAT Test Prep Classes – Test Prep During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 
We are now leading ACT and SAT test prep sessions via the online platform Zoom. They are going to last as long as our typical in-person test prep sessions and will also cost the same.
 
Now, each student will study from home, as opposed to studying within a group. And instead of meeting with me in person, he or she is going to do so online.
 
Sessions will still be scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
The scheduled online SAT/ACT test prep appointment confirmation notifications are going to have all the details you will need to access the Zoom meeting.
 
When recommended practice tests will be taken at home and then reviewed during the test prep classes.
 
You are going to be billed through email.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meanwhile, be safe and calm amidst the chaos.

Adjusting to the Coronavirus Crisis: Trial Sessions Now Moving Online
 
All our free trial sessions and test prep sessions are currently held online.
 
For the trial session, we will be connecting online through Zoom.
 
To get the most out of the trial session, it is best, if the student can stay uninterrupted for two hours.
 
When you register for your free trial session, all the information needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided.
 
I am going to be in contact during the first 15 minutes of the session.
 

 
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will be in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep suggestions.
 
In case your trial session is on a Saturday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if your trial session takes place on Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If your trial session is on Saturday, I will call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And in case your trial session is on a Sunday, I am going to contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Additionally, the group testing environment was insanely helpful in practicing what to expect during test day. Mr. Test Prep’s unpredictable outbursts of songs and people’s sneezing and coughing inevitably allowed me to block out the irrelevant and focus on the test. Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
