Private Online ACT Coaches – Test Prep Classes Now Online During the COVID-19 Crisis

 
Test prep classes are now conducted via the online platform Zoom. They are going to last as long as our typical in-person test prep sessions and are also going to cost the same.
 
Instead of studying within a group, he or she will study from home. The student will not sit with me in person; rather, he or she will meet with me online.
 
Students are still able to schedule sessions the same way like before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
 
When students schedule their appointments all the info needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided in the confirmation notifications.
 
Whenever it is time for a practice test, it will be taken at home and evaluated in our test prep sessions.
 
You are going to be invoiced via e-mail.
 
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. Meanwhile, stay safe and calm in the midst of the chaos.

When you imagine a test prep tutor, what kind of person do you think of?
I’m the type of person who never worked well with adults who tried to push me or made me feel stupid, and that’s why I was really reluctant to try SAT prep.
But Michael Romano surprised me by defying the stereotype of the traditional harsh, nitpicky tutor time and time again. He never forces students to study or do homework assignments, and because he did not, I felt genuinely inspired to put in the effort on my own behalf. Rather than someone else driving my progress, I felt as though I held the reigns to my own improvement on the SAT.
I won’t talk about how Michael comes up with neat strategies for the trickiest of math and reading problems, how he’s an endlessly patient teacher, or how he made every seemingly impossible question look easy and conquerable. He did all of these things. But I think what truly makes Michael special is the effort he puts into each relationship with his students. Test Prep Sessions Moving Online Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
 
All our free trial sessions and test prep are now held online.
 
Once someone has booked a trial session, we will be meeting online via Zoom.
 
Each student is going to require a silent place where he or she can work for two hours without getting interrupted.
 
Once you register for your free trial session, the Zoom meeting details will be provided.
 
I am going to be present for the first 15 minutes of our trial session.
 

 
After The Trial Session
 
After the trial session, I will get in touch with a parent and will talk about my test prep suggestions.
 
If your trial session is on Saturday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And in case your trial session is on a Sunday, I will contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|If the trial session takes place on Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. In case your trial session is on Sunday, I will call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.

Mr. Romano is the best tutor I have ever worked with… EVER!! I had gone to previous SAT prep centers, but none of them gave me the help and results that Mr. Romano did! One thing that was different with Mr. Romano, was that I actually enjoyed attending his test preps, and would even look forward to them!! Mr. Romano is simply the best. Upon entering Mr. Romano’s test prep, I knew little about the SAT. The knowledge and wisdom that I inherited from Michael is truly priceless. I had gone to over three different standardized testing tutors in the Bay Area since my freshman year. All left me unsatisfied, with mediocre results and my mother constantly reprimanding me for spending so much money on multiple exams and different tutors. On a whim, we tried Mr. Test Prep. Many of my friends had gone to him and raved about how his tutoring style is unique, effective, and definitely worth the money. They all succeeded in their standardized test preps, why shouldn’t I?
I can clearly remember Mr. Test Prep’s response when I said, “I’m no good at math and science.” He said, “Don’t think that way! These questions are easy if you think of them as easy. Let me break ‘em down for you…” Ever since then, the ACT has not intimidated me with the daunting math and science sections. His tricks to make sure I didn’t make any “silly” mistakes even increased my scores to near-perfection in the subjects that I was stronger in – reading, writing, and English! Michael Romano is the best. No exceptions. My first experience with SAT prep was with a not-so-great company, so I was at first reluctant to try Mr Test Prep. Boy, was I wrong — I should have started with him from the beginning! In the first half hour of the trial session he told me that I was probably better suited for the ACT. I tried my hand at that instead, and scored significantly higher. Mr Test Prep also helped me prepare for the PSAT, and now I am a National Merit Scholar.
