Online One-On-One SAT Services – Test Prep Classes Now Online During the COVID-19 Crisis
Until further notice, we are giving test prep sessions online via Zoom. They are going to last as long as typical in-person test prep sessions and will also cost the same.
Now, he or she will study from home, as opposed to doing work in a group setting. The student is not going to sit with me in person; instead, he or she will meet with me through the online platform Zoom.
Students can still schedule sessions the same way like before at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
Your online ACT/SAT test prep appointment confirmation emails are going to have the Zoom meeting information.
Whenever practice tests are recommended, they will be taken at home and then evaluated in our test prep sessions.
You will be invoiced via email.
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, be safe and calm in the midst of these unprecedented times.

Michael’s methodology is unlike any other tutor I’ve worked with before, and the results I got with him were unmatchable. The group setting allowed me to go back and forth between working on my own just like a testing setting AND breaking down my sections while they’re fresh in my mind. While many other tutors believe in using homework as a studying tool, whenever I would attend my next session with them, I couldn’t remember why I chose the answers I did. By confining my work to my sessions with Michael, I was able to evaluate my thought process for each answer and correct my mistakes MUCH more efficiently.
Rather than most tutor’s standard lesson plan (even for one on one sessions), Michael tailors each session to what that individual student needs. My best sections were tested less frequently, and more time was spent on the sections I struggled with.
Michael understands the interplay between testing and his student’s mindset. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have had extreme difficulty performing well on exams even when I know the material front to back. After two meditation sessions, I meditated every morning and night about a week preceding each of my SAT exams (as well as actually during my SAT) I felt less anxious, more at ease and extremely more confident.
What it boils down to is Michael truly understands his students and creates a relationship and bond with them like NO other tutor. He creates a completely safe space where mistakes aren’t scrutinized, they’re looked at as a place to improve. I improved my SAT score by about 350, but, beyond that, I can look back at my sessions with him and only have positive memories. Going to Michael was one of the best decisions I made. Trial Sessions in the COVID-19 Crisis
For the time being, we are holding all our free trial sessions and test prep classes online.
For the trial session, we will be connecting online via Zoom.
Each student is going to require a silent place where he or she can work for two hours without being disturbed.
When you book a free trial session, the Zoom link and instructions will be sent along with your confirmation email.
I am going to be present for the first 15 minutes of the session.
Follow-Up After The Trial Session
I will connect with a parent and will discuss my test prep suggestions in a follow-up phone call.
If the trial session takes place on a Saturday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. If the trial session takes place on a Sunday, I am going to call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.|In case your trial session takes place on a Saturday, I will contact the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. In case your trial session takes place on Sunday, I will call the parent between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.
