Test prep classes are now conducted through the online platform Zoom. They are going to last as long and cost as much as our in-person test prep sessions do.
Now, he or she will work from home, as opposed to studying in a group setting. The student will not sit with me in person; instead, he or she will meet with me online.
Sessions are still being scheduled at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
Your scheduled online SAT/ACT test prep appointment confirmation emails will have all the details you will need for the Zoom meeting.
When practice tests are recommended, they will be taken from your home and assessed during our test prep classes.
You will be invoiced through e-mail.
This too shall pass hopefully sooner than later. Meanwhile, stay safe and calm amid the chaos.
Warmly,
Michael
Mr. Test Prep, Michael Romano, describes himself as making a “genuine connection with each student”. That’s truly what makes him special. He really ‘gets’ his students. He’s so cool he even hit the basketball court with my son and his friends! This chemistry enabled Michael to be both encouraging and direct with my student, like the best kind of coach. Michael set high but achievable goals, and nudged my student forward when he saw more potential. My son began working with Michael in the fall of 11th grade, prior to the junior year PSAT. As a result of that early practice and confidence building with Michael, my son received a high enough score on his PSAT to qualify as a National Merit Scholar Finalist. His top 1% PSAT test scores, followed by high ACT scores, absolutely and measurably opened college doors for my son. We appreciated that Michael had our son try both the SAT and ACT, and actually take both the SAT and ACT exams. Michael has been doing this long enough to have a data centered approach as to why he has students try both tests; he knows what he’s doing. Ultimately, my son was accepted to his dream school UCLA.

Choosing Mr. Test Prep as my tutor was the best decision I could have ever made. Having taken a SAT bootcamp prior to Mr. Test Prep, I was annoyed that I still couldn’t master the techniques I learned in the bootcamp. After a diagnostic test in my trial session with Michael, I was surprised to find that he wanted me to switch over to the ACT. A great decision. With only a couple of sessions, I managed to score a perfect 36 on the ACT! Unlike other SAT/ACT test preps, Michael’s relaxing demeanor helped me remain calm throughout the testing process and focus on the strategies. What I love about Mr. Test Prep is how he treats each student as an individual by highlighting the strategies that work — and don’t work — for the student. I am so grateful that I was tutored by him and definitely recommend Michael to every struggling student! 10/10

I am so convinced that almost any student can increase their score to the level he or she is aiming for with the Mr. Test Prep sessions, that I offer my students a score satisfaction guarantee. What does that mean? If the students are not fully happy with the final results, they will be able to continue to attend Mr. Test Prep without any additional costs.
