In March 2020, we had to switch our test prep sessions to an online format and we have noticed that our results have been much better since. Because of that, test prep classes continue to be offered online using Zoom. For more information about how our online test prep sessions work please see below.
Online test prep classes – How is an online test prep session different?
- During the online classes, the student does not study in a group setting, but the student works from home. And instead of sitting with me in person, he or she will meet with me online.
- Students will be able to schedule online sessions at http://www.mrtestprep.acuityscheduling.com
- The Zoom link and instructions will be provided in your appointment confirmation notifications.
- If practice tests are recommended, they will be taken from your home and reviewed in our test prep classes.
- You are going to be billed through e-mail.

Michael’s methodology is unlike any other tutor I’ve worked with before, and the results I got with him were unmatchable. The group setting allowed me to go back and forth between working on my own just like a testing setting AND breaking down my sections while they’re fresh in my mind. While many other tutors believe in using homework as a studying tool, whenever I would attend my next session with them, I couldn’t remember why I chose the answers I did. By confining my work to my sessions with Michael, I was able to evaluate my thought process for each answer and correct my mistakes MUCH more efficiently.
Rather than most tutor’s standard lesson plan (even for one on one sessions), Michael tailors each session to what that individual student needs. My best sections were tested less frequently, and more time was spent on the sections I struggled with.
Michael understands the interplay between testing and his student’s mindset. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have had extreme difficulty performing well on exams even when I know the material front to back. After two meditation sessions, I meditated every morning and night about a week preceding each of my SAT exams (as well as actually during my SAT) I felt less anxious, more at ease and extremely more confident.
What it boils down to is Michael truly understands his students and creates a relationship and bond with them like NO other tutor. He creates a completely safe space where mistakes aren’t scrutinized, they’re looked at as a place to improve. I improved my SAT score by about 350, but, beyond that, I can look back at my sessions with him and only have positive memories. Going to Michael was one of the best decisions I made. Free Test Prep Trial Sessions Online
We are also conducting our free trial sessions online.
For the trial session, we will be connecting online through Zoom.
To be able to get the most out of the trial session, it is best for the student to remain uninterrupted for the duration of the two hour trial session.
Once you sign up for your free trial session, all the details needed to access the Zoom meeting will be provided.
I am going to be in contact within the first 15 minutes of our session.
After The Trial Session
I will connect with a parent and will discuss my test prep recommendations during a follow-up phone call.
If the trial session is on Saturday, I will call you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Monday. And if the trial session takes place on Sunday, I am going to contact you between 6 pm and 8 pm on the following Tuesday.
