You have plenty of wonderful leadership qualities, excellent grades, and recommendations that will also speak to your ability to perform well in higher education. Aim for the higher end of the averages at schools you are interested in. Having a goal score will help you have something specific to work towards. Don’t neglect other areas of your academics for the SAT, they will count for admissions too. Be sure to have a balanced approach.
2) It Doesn’t Have To Be A Competition
The percentiles you are given when you receive your SAT score can make it feel a bit like a competition. If you thrive on competition, go ahead look at your friends’ scores, it may give you the inspiration you need to do even better when you take the SAT again. 3) Who You Are
The SAT score is a tool to help you start higher education, but it does not define who you are or what college will be like for you.
